The centre will form part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) division in France.

 

The Windows Azure solution is a Cloud Computing platform enabling application development free from operational restrictions originating from inherent infrastructures, and with the potential to interface with other internal company applications if necessary.

 

Selected by Microsoft to join its Azure Circle, Business & Decision is currently developing a centre of expertise aimed at innovating usage of Windows Azure technology to better support its clients around the world:

 

• First Step:  Business & Decision will provide consulting services, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of the Windows Azure solution, and adapting this to each client's needs. Business & Decision will also compare the results with other cloud solutions on the market.  The client will be given a report with detailed recommendations on security measures, data sharing, etc.

 

• Second Step:  Following initial phase of analysis, an integration phase will be planned to execute the necessary technical developments, software implementation and deployment.

 

Business & Decision has identified customers that would most benefit from Windows Azure Solutions:

• Software providers, aiming to offer solutions in SaaS mode,
• Website creators, intending to transform their hosting resources and costs, with unrivalled flexibility,
• Companies hoping to optimise application hosting (for applications with a high level of traffic or with high CPU usage). In particular, applications which service external customers and customer relationships, which must be able to pass through company firewalls and be deployed online.
